The best format for a CSV uploaded to Collections is a single column with no column header like the image below in UTF-8.
Only UTF-8 format is supported. Any other format will cause the upload to fail, including the Windows default in some older Excel versions.
Additional considerations:
- all columns aside from "A" will be ignored
- single empty rows will be ignored, but multiple empty rows will prevent any further content from uploading
- large CSVs will require some time to import
To get the correct UTF-8 format from Excel:
- go to your file
- choose to "Save As"
- select UTF-8
